An introduction to an informative and factual blog post titled "Ente Aniyathi pdf" would be as follows: Ente Aniyathi is a Malayalam novel by Malayattoor Ramakrishnan. It tells the story of a family from Thrissur in Kerala, India. There are four generations of the Thumboory family present in this novel, spanning across sections of three different centuries. The book's chapters are grouped into four sections - "The Beginning", "The Middle", "The End" and "Epilogue". This novel is considered one of the most important works in modern Malayalam literature. The author and the characters in this novel have been honoured by several literary awards and recognition. Malayattoor was born on 25 July 1925 to Kainikkara Kurup, a Brahmin from Thrissur district, and Amminikutty, a Nair woman from Ernakulam district. His birthplace was Chalakkudy in Thrissur district. After getting his primary education at Chalakkudy Government School, he completed his intermediate education at St Stephen's College, Kochi. He later joined Maharaja's College (now University College) Trivandrum where he completed his BA Degree in English Literature with first rank in 1947. Malayattoor joined the Indian Navy as a cadet. After his service in the navy, Malayattoor worked as a teacher at Maharaja's College, Panampilly Nagar, Trivandrum. He later became Secretary to Secretary of Central Government's Department of Education in New Delhi. He quit his job in 1964 for reasons unknown. Malayattoor married Tharmini on 10 November 1952, and started writing this novel in 1967. Malayattoor was an admirer of Thomas Mann's work, and compared the novel to "Doctor Faustus". His wife once said that he loved this novel more than any other works that he had written because it was his first work. Malayattoor died on 24 November 1998 at Trivandrum. The novel is set in Chalakudy, Thrissur. The bulk of the book has been written within Kerala, but there are also occasional forays into neighbouring locations such as Mysore, Kanyakumari and even Istanbul. The narration mainly follows the story of four generations of one family. It begins with a conversation between Kariman Ammu (who provides the link to the next generation) and her daughter Molly. Though not related by blood, they are both granddaughters of Kariman's father Mannathi Thumboory, who is profiled in Chapter 2 ("The Beginning"). Mannathi was the son of Neelamon Thumboory (who is profiled in Chapter 3 ("The Middle")), who was the son of Thirumukkam Pillai (profiled in Chapter 4 ("The End")). Kariman's father Mannathi left his village to go to Kranthi Nilayam (a place that existed only in his mind) where he used to stay most of the time. He didn't like living with his wife Thiru-Uma Reddy and with his sons, but he couldn't leave them because eventually they sacrificed their lives for him. cfa1e77820
